Terms & Conditions

The Chef’s Table

Effective Date: April 22, 2026

1. Agreement

By confirming a booking with The Chef’s Table, you agree to these Terms.

2. Booking & Payment

  • 30% non-refundable deposit required

  • Booking confirmed upon payment

  • Remaining balance due 7 days prior

  • Full payment required for last-minute bookings

3. Minimum Spend

  • Minimum spend: $1,500

  • Chef fee: $500

  • Pricing includes GST

4. Guest Numbers

  • Final numbers due 7 days prior

  • Used for final billing

  • Reductions after this time are not accepted

5. Cancellations

  • Deposit is non-refundable

  • <7 days cancellation → full payment required

6. Changes

  • Changes must be made 7 days prior

  • Additional costs may apply

7. Service

  • Arrival: 1.5–2 hours before

  • Finish: ~10:00–10:30pm (unless agreed upon

  • Pack down included

8. Client Responsibilities

Client must provide:

  • Functional kitchen

  • Safe working space

  • Table for sharing-style service

  • Anything else agreed on upon booking

Client responsible for:

  • Guest table setup

  • Plates, cutlery, glassware (unless hired)

  • Anything else agreed on upon booking

9. Staffing

  • Staffing is based on event size and service style.

10. Dietary Requirements

  • Must be disclosed in advance.

  • We cannot guarantee allergen-free environments.

11. Liability

We are not responsible for:

  • Third-party issues

  • Unforeseen damages

12. Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for events outside our control.

13. Acceptance

  • Booking confirmation = acceptance of terms.

  • Finalised 7 days before your event.

On the Day

  • We arrive early

  • We handle everything

  • You enjoy your event
